Ready to submit your program profile? Take a moment to review the steps below to guide you through the submission process.

1. Confirm Eligibility

Programs from institutions in the Excelencia in Action (E-Action) Network and community-based organizations are eligible to submit for the 2026 Examples of Excelencia cycle. Not sure if your institution is eligible? Contact the Institutional Programs team at Examples@EdExcelencia.org to confirm your institution’s status or learn how to join the E-Action Network.

2. Choose An Issue Area

There are four key issue areas: AI Innovation, Career and Workforce, Teaching and Learning, and Student Supports. We encourage program leaders to select the area that best reflects the work of their program in advancing Latino, and all, student success.

If you are unsure which issue area to select, consider drafting your program narrative first. Sharing your draft with someone outside your program can offer a helpful perspective and inform your decision about which issue area best represents the need your program addresses.

3. Craft Your Narrative

As you prepare your submission, you’ll have access to tools and capacity-building opportunities designed to support how you reflect on, measure, and share your program’s impact.

The Examples of Excelencia Program Profile Submission Form is designed to guide this reflection, helping programs articulate their mission and goals, describe the need they address, document the evidence-based practices they implement, outline staffing and funding, and share both quantitative and qualitative evidence of effectiveness.
