How to Nominate a Program

Nominate a program here

The nomination period opens on February 3 and closes on April 1, 2025 at 11:59pm PT.

Starting in 2025, nominations are only accepted for community-based organization programs. Please note that a nomination is not a required step to submit a program profile. Nominations for programs at the associate, baccalaureate, and graduate levels are no longer available; program profile submissions from all levels will be accepted from February 18 to April 21, 2025.

If you are nominating a program as a guest, you will not be able to save this form, and if you navigate away from this page without submitting your nomination, your progress will be lost. Creating an account makes it easier to nominate several programs at once, save your progress on a nomination, and return year after year for nominations. 

Nominator information is not shared with nominated programs although Excelencia collects nominator information in case individual follow-up is needed.

There is no limit to the number of programs at community-based organizations you can nominate. 

What to Expect After Nominating a Community-Based Organization Program

After nominating a program, a confirmation message should appear on your screen. A confirmation email will also be sent to the email you provided in the nomination form.

If you do not receive either message, please contact our program team at: Examples@EdExcelencia.org.

All nominated programs will be notified by our program team of their nomination for the 2025 Examples of Excelencia. Programs will be encouraged to complete a 2025 Examples of Excelencia program profile submission form. Only programs who provide a completed submission form will be considered for the 2025 Examples of Excelencia.
